Srushti Deshmukh is beginning working on her UPSC exam in her third year of engineering degree. When she finished her senior year of engineering, Deshmukh wondered if she'd like working in the field of engineering. Then, she realised civil services was her passion and decided to pursue this field. Her parents encouraged her to be an official in the civil service and to pursue a career in public service. She did not lose motivation, and remained focused solely in her pursuit of becoming an IAS. To be able to pass UPSC to be successful the hard work of a lifetime is needed. She was also preparing for UPSC exams while doing her engineering studies. Everyday, she set aside some time to prepare for the exam. She spent only one month working on the exam and was away from the internet and social daily life. She believes that focusing is the most important factor to succeed in the exam of government and becoming an officer in the civil service. She put in a lot of effort to reach her aim to pass the test on her first attempt. To keep up to date with current affairs, she used to regularly go through news papers. In the online world, she found numerous study resources as well as watched Rajya Sabha TV. IAS Srushti Deskmukh IAS Srushti Deskmukh wrote a book that was called, The Answer Writing Handbook.
